Are you looking at the right guy? He had 2 points on 6 shots (0 AST, 3 TOs) 1/28/21, 10 points on 11 shots (1 AST, 2 TOs) 02/20/21, and 12 points on 10 shots (1 AST, 2 TOs) 2/3/22 in his last 3 against the Zags.

His team lost by 30, 37, and 28 in those games.

02/27/20 he did have 19 points on 12 shots (0 AST, 1 TO). Game before that same season he had 4 points on 6 shots (0 AST, 2 TOs) 1/9/20. They lost those games by 44 and 35.

I liked it better with the wrong guy.

Around the same time that I went to my first UConn basketball games and saw Toby Kimball, it was a big deal to me that an offensive lineman from Conard HS in West Hartford was recruited by Purdue and became a Big 10 starter. Jack Calcaterra later played at Dillon Stadium for the Hartford Knights, after not making an NFL or AFL team as I'd wished for at the time.

Wonder what his percentage is on catch and shoot 3s. Believe that is the roll he will fall more into on this team.

I don't know on total attempts or FG% (don't have syngery), but 79% of his made 3s were assisted. Previous years 84 and 73. Similar numbers to Polley and Cole, but less self-creation on 3s than Bouknight or Vital. Catch and shoot only players like Akok and Whaley are in the 90s to literally 100%.

Really happy the staff is keeping an open mind to portal guys to fill these spots. This guy may help us in practice more than the games but I think they'd be foolish not to give him a couple of looks in the early and preseason. The rest is up to him
