Joe Fagnano Talks Improving Late Game Execution and More in New Pod

Joe was somewhere between good and very good. I can’t knock him. He’s a college QB. We aren’t the Chiefs.

I’d like to hear more from the coach and coordinators.

Joe did fine. If they kicked the field goal instead of going on 4 and 2 at the end of the game, I'm pretty sure UConn wins.
I am not so sure UConn wins if they kick the FG for a 6 pt lead. If UConn has a 6 pt lead then I think Delaware would have gotten a TD. The defense wasn't stopping Delaware in any high leverage situations/plays.

People have gone so long without seeing good QB play, they think this is it. It isn't.
We have a top 12 passing offense, we’re 12th in total yards a game, and are averaging 40 points a game. Are we watching the same games?

We certainly have to execute better at the end of games and finish drives (that goes especially for the coaches), but QB play is probably the least of our concerns at the moment

He has a 66% completion percentage, averaging a high of 8.2 yards per completion, has 5 TDs and 0 interceptions. Is he gunslinger? No. Is he a statistically very good QB? Survey says…yes. The focus is a bad D. Never should have happened. End of story.

Objectively he is a good Quarterback. No idea what Prince is crying about.

Unless Joe is playing DT or edge, there’s not tooooo much I can complain about. He sucks at touch passes and accuracy when on the run. We also put up 41 pts. I remember when UConn was losing these games 44-6.

I am mad. Most of that is not directed at Joe.
