are insanely good:
  • Quarterback rating: Eighth-best in the FBS with a rating of 166.7.
  • Passing touchdowns: Sixth in the nation with 21 touchdowns.
  • Passing yards: Sixth in the nation with 2,529 passing yards.
  • Interceptions: Zero interceptions after nine games.
  • Completion percentage: 68.1%.

He's playing smart football and to his strengths. Give credit to the coaching staff and the skill guys for making plays as well. Those stats don't tell the whole story.

Fagnano deserves all the credit, but the skill guys and coaches should get some small recognition. It really is a team game.

I hope he gets a chance to play at the next level.

It's incredible to say that this team probably might have the best QB, WR in Uconn history. Maybe even RB, but too soon to tell. All on the same team. That's amazing

His in-pocket mobility will hold him back a bit, but he can definitely be a QB2 in the NFL. Rock solid decision making, quick release, accurate and great composure.

I was driving through PA today and the Penn State radio station pre-game host pointed out the great season Williamsport's own Fagnano was having and mentioned UConn's success. Gave his season stats too. Nice to hear outside of CT.
Made the 60 second highlights of the Notre Dame/Navy game tonight too -- quick look of that incredible Fagnano to Bell TD that put us ahead alongside some kind words.

It's take time, but Mora's got people paying attention to UConn football.

Are you suggesting that no one should give Joe a shot because Weinke didn't pan out?
No, I said he has a great chance at getting a very attractive UDFA contract.

No NFL team should use a draft pick on a depth chart QB over age 23.

He has actually improved that a lot as well as rolling out and passing on the move. I dont believe I saw that much until this year. He can still improve a lot and I hope he does so he can make it at the next level.

Absurd. He'll get a workout at UConn's pro day. If he does well, any team in the NFL would be willing to use a late round pick on him at QB if there's a need.

I'm not making the case that Joe gets drafted. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if someone took a chance on him.

Joe will at a minimum get a look as a camp arm, but I am guessing it will be more than that.

The QB class is really weak this year. He's further up the order than most people think.

So the Bengals should’ve have drafted Joe Burrow then right, Tyler Shpugh got drafted and he’s 26.

Man remember when this board was dumping on Fagnano just a few short years ago? And then he randomly just became one of the best college QBs in the nation lol
He’s consistently improved but if you think about it from the minute he took over he’s been making plays. Add in a great group of receivers and damn good OL and here we are. We’ve actually transitioned from a heavy run to opened up pass O. Pretty incredible

That's kind of silly. The QB from Georgia a few years back was around the same age. You had Weinke, Brandon Weeden. Tyler Shough just last year

Georgia QB was like 25-26

People were calling for Mora's head as recently as 10 days ago... it's like you don't know the Boneyard at all!

This is why I don't mind being a homer who puts on the "national flag blue" glasses and predicts undefeated seasons. When I'm right (we haven't been beaten in regulation time this year), it feels so much better...
