Bad feed - it kept cutting out on me. A few bits:
* He's not a candidate for the full-time gig
* Has no clue about further expansion of the league
* Hasn't heard anything about Boise backing out
* Won't speculate on Cuse/Pitt possibly staying past next year
* Will not be at the TV negotiation table
* The normal process for finding a new commish takes 3-4 months.
He obviously doesn't know where the bodies are buried yet - which may work out in the league's favor. We'll see...

Didn't see this before epark - i posted the transcript from the bigeast site on it's own threda - sorry.
But about Bailey the guy handled the press relations for the Miami Dolphins for a number years. He's been involved in professional football for 40 years. THe guy's first job in football was as a college scout for the Dallas Cowboys. He played football at North Carolina. He sits on a panel of uppity's at Duke university that is all about the value of sport competition. He just did a whole bunch of consulting for the U.S. Olympic committee.
I think we're in pretty good hands during the transititon period we're at right now.
