Does JC still have a role with our athletic department or has that ended now that KO has shown that the program has transitioned?

Yup.

I think his official title is "Special Assistant to the Athletic Director". He has an office in the new practice facility.

His duties include being Jim Calhoun and doing Jim Calhoun-like things.

I'm so biased that I could be way off, but it seems to me that Jim is doing an excellent job and could have a real future as an in-game analyst. He clearly watched a lot of tape and isn't over talking.

Thanks. He's lucky. If I had a job being me, I'd be fired in the first week.

Would they ever let him do our games? Or would there be too much fear of bias

I thought he did a good job. He provided a coach's perspective to the game in real-time. I would have bumped up the level on his mike up a couple of clicks to compensate for his partner's "radio" voice.

He had a sizable role courtside for the Duke game. I think he acknowledged his bias but he had a lot of praise for Okafor. Overall he seemed objective and did a good job.

I love JC too but I think only people in the northeast can understand what the hell he's talking about

Tulsa is now the clear #1 team in the conference, ahead of SMU, Temple, Cincy, Memphis and UConn.
