Rome's annual salary is reported to be $30M. So he has his share of listeners. I occasionally listen to the show. He had good things to say about UConn MBB this past week.

I love how Mora embraces coaches like Geno and Danny. He shows no ego. Looking forward to baseball and football since hoops is done until next year.

Jim Rome loves him some Huskies. Second time he had Mora on and had on Hurley this week too.

I have newfound respect for Rome. He mentions his Jim Everett moment and owned up to it. Most of us have had "bad days at the office" that should not define us 30 years later.

Sounded like conversation between two old friends over a beer.
