The post coaching career is very cool to me. Even a 25+ year Husky fan like myself is a little surprised at who JC really is. I knew he was tough from his coaching career. But he's not a psycho who swears all the time. He's positive and loves seemingly everything. He's incredibly engaged and curios. He's even more than i thought he was.
I particularly love the relationship he has with his x players. He's not their boss or father or leader anymore. I mean, he was all of this things and maybe still is. But at the same time they all seem like partners more than i ever thought while he coached. He was coach. They were players. Together made Connecticut basketball.
