What could he have possibly done to get fired now? Why let him spend your FA money, then manage the #3 overall pick only to be fired a couple weeks later? This is SO Jets.

Here in Pittsburgh, sports talk radio was all over this because the HC didn't want to spend large on La'veon Bell and the GM did.

It's like there is a 3-way competition between which owner can screw-up their New York professional sports team the most with Dolan having 2 ponies in the race with the Knicks (how about that lottery!) and the Rangers. It's like Chris Johnson (Jets) could not let John Mara & Steve Tisch getway with making the Giants the worst run franchise in the Big Apple without having their own say. The Steinbrenners may drive some people nuts; but at least they know how to run a respectable and competetive (most seasons) team (Yankees).
