Lawlor also contributed another assist and a monster rebound (it really was, as she fought off a taller Bearcat.)

Kid plays with a lot of moxie. I would not be surprised if Geno offers her a scholarship at the end of the year. She seems to be his 'type' of player.... Unselfish and someone who just wants to contribute any way she can.
Agree - really enjoy watching her play and the hustle she has. I wouldn't be surprised if he did a Fernandez type deal where he gives her a scholarship on a yearly basis based on whether he has any available and the understanding it will be pulled if he needs it. Since he has almost never used all his scholarships it is a good bet she would have it for the next three years. At least she is 'in-state' so her tuition isn't as onerous as it might be.

Updates for game 24
Rebounds 5, Steals 1, Assist 5, Points 14, (Blocks 0)

Totals:
71 (3.0), 66 (2.8), 128 (5.3), 243 (10.1) (Blocks 5)
Projections:
Rebounds 119, Steals 111, Assists 213, and Points 405

So another very solid game even with TWO turnovers! The five rebounds and 14 points are well above the required numbers and the points have shifted her back above the 400 mark on projections. Her single steal in each of the last two games has moved the 'ask' rate for the rest of the season above the 2.0 mark, but well below her current average per game. Still cannot let her guard down. Meanwhile her offense is blossoming - 6-7 tonight and 11-12 in the last two games not bad for the 5th option on offense! And her drives and ability to finish at the rim are spectacular.
So - what a surprise - last game it was 14 steals and Moriah got just one, this game it is Moriah finishing in a tie for third place in assists! Kaleena and Saniya both smoked her with 7 and 6 respectively. Of course they had the advantage of passing to the current hot hand on the team! If only Moriah could pass to herself!

Meanwhile Bria!!! On fire as well from the floor and racking up more steals - 8-10 and 5-6 from downtown. During her current hot streak she has raised her season average to .477 and on threes to .365. And looking so confident now.
Stewart has also been on a nice little streak and has raised her FG percentage to .501 And Kaleena seems to be getting into a nice groove as well recording her first double double of the season and adding in 7 assists a block and a steal and lots of hustle plays.

This team should end up with four players with 100+ assists (and two more with 75+), and will end with 3 players close to 100 blocks, and two players close to 100 steals. They will have three players with 200+ rebounds and three more with 100+. Just a very good TEAM.

Others were stealing the ball like blunt objects before MoJet had a chance to pilfer it.

NBC Connecticut had a nice piece on her after the Cincinnati game the other night. At the end of it they had Geno, and paraphrasing he said something to the effect of what a "hard worker she is, how dedicated, understands her role on the team...how could you not love a kid like that?"

Jefferson is the most exciting player on the team in my opinion. Any time she is near the ball I expect something great to happen. Some of those shots she made last night were crazy. I don't know how she cuts through two or three defenders and while falling off balance and away from the hoop some how still gets the ball to drop in.

She covers the ball like a running back going through the line and then offers it up with the softest touch at the rim. You have to love the way MoJet attacks the basket.

IMO, if MoJeff can develop a consistent 3 pt shot, she has the the ability to become one of the best PG ever !

Mo is scoring 10.1 ppg and shooting .582 from the field better than everyone else on the team except Kiah Stokes. At .319 her three ball could certainly be improved but in the last mouth that percentage has risen by about .080 from where she was in early January. She doesn't shoot many 3s and with her speed you probably don't want her to as she is devastating when driving, but if she can raise that by another .030 it will be acceptable. In the last 8 games she is 7 of 13 for 54% from three
