At the high school I teach at, the boys basketball team lost in the semis. Someone that works in my district contacted JC to give a message after the loss. I don't think the students really know who he is and what he accomplished at UCONN by putting us on the map. During our mourning announcements he came on and gave a pep talk. It was really cool.
