Yeah, and staying out of foul trouble will be a key for all of UConn's players including Ross. If foul trouble becomes an issue I would not be surprised if Dwayne Koroma got some spot minutes. He won't be a savior, but he can possibly be like Youssef Singare.

Stewart has shown lock down potential on many a good player as well as good team offense. We will miss him tonight for sure. Like @gsmooth said Karoma might be on deck for some minutes in the frontcourt. Hopefully the refs don't chop the game up too much because that could definitely happen here.

To be fair, Koroma has already played against a couple top 15 teams. And, though he hasn't been great by any stretch, I think he somewhat held his own. I wouldn't want him to give us anymore than 5 minutes or so.

Normally no, but Koroma might be a "break glass in case of emergency" type player the way Singare was and foul trouble could lead to that emergency.

Do you really think Hurley wanted to or had plans before the game to put Singare in the game last year in Omaha versus Creighton? Of course not.

What we really need is Solo to step up and play some solid defense so we don't need to bench him.

If not, then Ross will get more minutes.
