Jaylin Stewart in Portal

It warms my heart how May dislikes you are getting.
Sorry I have two eyes and can watch the games.

He’s not a UConn caliber player. It is what it is. The histrionics over this are crazy to me. It’s also not like he hasn’t had his chances either. He was pushed into big minutes several times due to injury and simply never played well enough to hold onto those minutes.

The dislikes speak for themselves. They are piling up quickly. Just know how many people couldn’t possibly disagree with you any more.

Stewart didn’t get one iota better in 3 seasons here.

He was an average at best defender with no offensive game besides an occasional 3. He’s continuously made bone headed plays and took horrible shots.

He’s extremely easy to replace.

I just wish [good insult that the filter removed and I'm not going to say mushroom cap] like you would stay in the chat with the rest of the clowns. Kick rocks.

I'm not as sensitive as some of the pollyannas here, but the kid put 3 good years into the program and bled the jersey. The purpose of the thread is to thank him for the blood & sweat - the kid is Husky true & blue.

Jonathan Mandeldove bled blue for 4 years.

I don’t wish ill will on the guy, but we don’t need to act like this is a massive loss.

It's not about being "sensitive," it's that - for a lot of the people on this board - it's not just some rotisserie league dorkfest where the players are fungible units in a spreadsheet. Some of us still retain an emotional attachment to the college team we root for.

Even moreso, an appreciation for the human we know loves being here and we've grown to know for 3 years.

Well said though.

What a awful post with truly horrible anlaysis. Was Jaylin a superstar on our team? No, but he was an integral piece on the team and improved each year especially this past year on D.

I said this in the other thread, but Hurley mismanaged Stewie especially this year and it is the 2nd biggest error he’s made in his tenure (the biggest error was recruiting Mahaney, obviously).

2 years ago, Stewie was projected by several outlets as a first round pick. He knows the system and makes smart plays. Inconsistent, but the talent is there. I thought he would slide into the 3 with Mullins at the 2 and Demary at the 1.

Stew was loyal to the program in an age where loyalty is nowhere to be found. To see some jokers crap on him on the way out is just infuriating. It also lets you know who doesn’t have a clue about basketball, because he has the talent and made winning plays.

I hope he follows Luke to BC and becomes their #1 option.

“Mushroom cap.” “Kick rocks.” Eh, kind of cringe. I think you can do better. Let it out though, buddy. It’s always darkest before the dawn.

Lol. Ok, champ. Downvote me if you don’t like it 😉. Excited to get Khamenia at the four.
I'll dislike you if you dislike me

How could you say he’s loyal when he just transferred out?

I hate this take. Hurley did not mismanage him. He got 18 and 16 minutes per game his sophomore and junior year but just was not able to earn more PT. He got plenty of opportunities and for whatever reason, it just didn’t all come together like plenty of us expected. Framing this as somehow Hurley’s doing is ridiculous to me.

Just find it odd you keep calling people champ and picking fights.
Not really picking fights. Just tweaking regular cry bullies like Big Ern with the same language they doll out. It’s funny. Not sure why you white knight for them but to each their own.
