Sad. Wonder what lawyer put that bug in his ear.

Sounds like just his way of suing them over what happened with his dad.

Suddenly, the 2 1/2 years old mailbag link "Any Chance Jay Paterno For QB Coach?" on the sidebar of Dez's blog is sorta-not really relevant.

PSU fans speak FAR worse of Jay Paterno than Cuse fans EVER did of GDL! And that was BS (Before Sandusky).

.-.
As I wrote in the other thread, Paterno was not even a reasonable candidate for the job, according to Manuel's criteria (i.e. No less than O/D Coordinator experience).

So glad this never happened to be honest,,. Its horrible what happened to Jay and his family, but we didn't need that story here... WE got the right man in Diaco. So happy he's here.

So glad what never happened? Paterno was never a consideration at UConn. There were at least 3 coaches on every FBS football team in America who held the qualifications over Paterno as stipulated by Manuel. That means that Paterno was no higher than 373 on the list...

Exactly. There was nothing to "happen". He applied just so he could build a case for his silly lawsuit.

Ok... sorry I just never heard that he was even in consideration at all, so.
