I think the ranking has to do more with him being so young. He just turned 17. From what little ive seen and read on him he can contribute from day one but isnt going to be a one and done but could really explode in his second year as he starts to really fill out.

That’s his composit 247 has him as a 4 Star just outside the top 100 at 105. He’s been shooting up the rankings since his play in the 3rd live period. As soon as schools heard he was considering a reclass they all offered. Arizona flew out their staff. He moves so fluidly for a 7 footer. His athleticism doesn’t get enough credit either he blocked a shot like 2 feet over the basket in the Thornlea Classic. He just needs to work on his strength and his motor.

That’s pretty damn good for a 17 y/o. He has an amazingly high ceiling and already has shown he can dominate
I have no doubt that if he didnt reclassify he'd fly up the rankings and be a top 100 for `21

He'll be an NBA player.

If this is true, then next year's team may have 4+ future NBA players on it. A scary thought for our opponents. Can't remember the last time 4 future NBA players were on the same UConn team (2005-2006?)...

Looks like he has plenty of room to grow. Very athletic frame. Thin but not skinny. Be nice if he came in at 230-235.

Kid is talented with a great frame for strength and conditioning to build on. I think he’s going to be a work in progress for year 1 but will be a monster in his later years. He has a very high ceiling which is why teams like Kansas were very much involved until the end

He has a frame somewhat like Dwight in High School. Young but you can tell he’s gonna be ripped.

Good it keeps him hungry, just like the guys Calhoun would recruit like Ben, Emeka, Shabazz even Kemba and Ray to some degree, etc. Can put that #136 ranking on his wall/locker room and look at that every single day and have that extra chip on his shoulder.

Good let the kids who come go to the Pukes, UNCcheat, Squid U, UK of the world believe the hype and have our guys hungrier. For as many national championships as those programs have, I wonder how many hype trophies they have.

When I compare this latest clip to some older clips he looks alot more coordinated and natural on the court than he used to. If he can learn and apply it to the game we may be in for a real treat. Hope he keeps developing!

Looks as if he won't need Coach Hurley's "be forceful at the rim" lecture.
He might even make some here forget about Steven Enoch.
