The situation with Tony Altimore is a little perplexing. One the one hand, he is a tremendous aggregator of data and strong presenter, and also insightful about the nature of higher ed mgmt. On the other hand, he sunk pretty low with his attacks on those just sharing their own insights and rumors. The way he went about it took some shine off the idea he is a 'pro.'
