Jared Lorenzen dead at 38

I had the opportunity to meet him a couple times back when i was down in the Cincy area and he was a great guy. He was in the middle of their arena league team, and broke his leg which i'm guessing hurt his health in the long term. Big guy, and i'm betting that bad wheel did not help with his battles with weight. Sad, sad story. He was an throwback. Kind of like a local Mickey Mantle of fball. Just a good old kid sandlot kid who could really sling it.
