Jannah and her dad went to campus and met with coaches. I don't know what was said in that meeting, I do know she made a statement. "Tennessee has always been in my corner no matter what the circumstances may be," Tucker said. "Starting in the spring semester, I will be attending the University of Tennessee. I am so excited to officially be a Lady Vol, because they truly represent what family is all about. I am so appreciative for all the support I've gotten from everyone that is a part of UT, and I am extremely confident that UT is the best place for me to be." I agree she has been though a lot. I think she needs support from family, friends and team. She did commit and signed a LOI.I feel more than a little uneasy about this latest news, particularly the over-the-top announcement on the LV website: http://www.utsports.com/sports/w-baskbl/
So much for a quiet and soft landing. This young woman has been through a lot, and not that long ago. There's typically a lot of work and healing to recover from the trauma of domestic violence and it doesn't happen overnight. If she and her family believe it's better to do that away from her home and family that's their decision and hopefully she'll get the help she needs at Tennessee.
alydar---the 3/4 of course. ha. nah, it's prob way too early for that talk. Tn fans will certainly get excited about the basketball side of it, but i personally am just happy to see her fighting back and taking control of her dreams.
