Congrats, James! The expectations keep getting set high, and he seems motivated to meet them.

Nice (for me) to see Fatts Russell’s name on that list. He was a 3 star, somewhere around 200th ranked senior in high school when Dan said he’d lead the A10 in scoring. That could very well happen if things go well.

There’s a pretty wide spectrum of pre-season projections for JB. He’s on the watch list for Naismith and Jerry West awards, but he didn’t make the Pres-season All Big East 1st team. He was projected a top-10 pick and the first non- 1 and done to come off the board by 247, but isn’t in the top 10 guards for The Athletic. The odd thing about this is that nothing about his game is particularly polarizing. I’m chalking this up to lack of exposure playing in the AAC

You can't belly ache about preseason recognition - the only results that count is where you stand at the end of the season (CV is perfect case in point - 1st team All AAC and if they played the full season who knows what else - he just kept getting better and better)
