Replacing Hubert Davis, who somehow landed an assistant coaching gig at UNC.

Jalen Rose is as good a basketball guy as ESPN has (while Davis had an IQ in single digits), so this is a terrific upgrade to say the least.

Now, just force Digger into retirement.

Nah, he's just another guy.

Great move for ESPN, Rose is light years beyond Davis as an analyst. Give Digger the boot and just make it Davis, Bilas, and Rose. So glad I don't have to listen to Davis's B movie villian laugh anymore.

I must say, I'm gonna miss Hubert talking about how teams "play great defense on both ends of the floor."

His analysis was nothing if not unique.

Diger is going to do Game Day, and step away from his other responsibilities. Better than nothing.

YES! this is great news. Jalen is great. He knows his stuff and hes honest and not afraid to say anything. Almost like Charles but more serious and not as extreme. About time ESPN hired someone who knew anything about college bball. Hubert Davis, Digger, Jay Williams are all incompetent.

I can just hear it now, "Rose crashes into ESPN headquarters!"

I don't know, I've heard him on the radio and he gets lost quickly without his talking points fed to him.
