As a result of Dook's very disappointing tournament, Jahlil Okafor has decided to back out of his commitment and wants to play for a true winner. He noted the success of this great Husky program and of his distant relative Emeka at UConn and wants to follow in his footsteps.

He hates criers so he wants to avoid a tear fest at next year's NCAA Tournament, and instead would rather be celebrating at the Final-4 this time next year as one of the next great Husky Bigs.

This is truly huge news and the timing could not be better.

Welcome to the family, Jahlil.

Has to be a 4/1, you can't just back out of an LOI that easily

Pass.

He obviously isnt tough enough to play at UCONN if he originally committed to Duke.

I am also aware it is 4/1.

Not funny DM. :)

May I add, that (and this is NOT an April Fools joke) that today actually IS my Birthday, so:
1) I am immune to all variations of April fools ploys and see through them immediately
2) They piss me off

You may go about your day now.

if that actually happened J Okafor would be dropped from being a Mcdonalds AA and be dropped to a 3 star, then K would never schedule Uconn again

He wouldn't even start at UConn. He's partially a Dookie just by signing the LOI so he's not tough enough for UConn.

Happy Birthday to AW. You share it with my sister.

There is a joke in there somewhere, but I think I will just leave it at: "Thank You"!

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I noticed a clear lack of 4/1 posts and knew it was the moment to strike. I did make the body of the text obvious. Just having a little fun. I've been had for a split second on the yard in the past forgetting what day it was.

Just couldn't help myself, nor pass up on an opportunity to poke fun at the program we all hate. As for Jahlil, like all Dookies before and after him, he's dead to me. Why someone would want to end their season in tears is beyond me. After this year's run that has not run its course, we'll have many top recruits knocking at our door...not that they haven't been already...but with that said, I'm sure KO will select his type of kid not necessarily the ones that have these over-inflated stars next to their name.

I'll take a hungry Shabazz over the lot of guards that didn't come here. We want winners. We want rock-fighters. No sissy criers.

Now that's real creepy. Hate seeing this, but love seeing Jake walking in the background. Brings back great memories, though I'm ready for some more great memories this weekend and on Monday. :)
