Jaded Fruit fans...

That does seem to be an annual event. Seems to happen only in Gampel however. The Hartford CC fans must be better behaved...

Nope - this year after the game at the XL she claimed she was cursed out and there was a beer dumped on her and/or her friend.

Texan Mark does this same schtick on the Rutgers board. He'll post all nice and friendly and say hey come look at my tailgate guide and I wish we could all be one happy family. Then he runs back on the syracuse board and throws sleazeball insults behind his fruity orange wall. I hate Uconn and I hate syracuse. I will bad mouth both schools at every chance I get. Heck I've even done that here a couple times but the way I see it its still better than that two faced weasel texanmark.

that is texasmark - one way when he is talking to us, and another way when he is on the SU board.

I don't care if people trash UCONN on other boards. I think a bit of rivalry is nice. But I don't like phonies.

I can not find a word that can describe my intense hatred for all things orange. I don't like RU, but I don't hate them as I do SU.

I met met her (cto) once several years ago at a game. She came across as someone who felt she was quite important.

Money does that to some people.

It will be fun to watch SU be a middle of the pack ACC team. They are still in denial that we duckin owned their asses in the Big East.
I don't think you could be more wrong about her. She certainly had the life to think she was important, but that never came across to me. Incredibly generous and down-to-earth as far as I'm concerned. I really don't care what she says on the SU board about us. She has supported UConn in many ways.

Probably more people her age at the Hartford CC. She really sounds very pompous. I remember when she announced on SU,s forum how she received an invitation to Paul Newman's funeral. Who the heck announces something like that on an athletic message board? Look at me, look at me.
She was a long time friend of Paul Newman. I'm positive she didn't advertise that.

CTO is bummed we didnt come to her rescue after her annual "the big bad uconn fans harassed me at a game" post on the yard.
I lost all respect for CTO after she came here threatening to tattle on the guy who was a son in law of a Cuse trustee about the fact that he talking crap about Cuse on this board. Really? How pathetic can she be.

Tells me all I need to know about that cry baby.

That thread is unreadable. I find it hard to believe that any of them actually graduated from college.
This thread is unreadable, sorry that I opened it up. Sour grapes gentlemen, they got an invite and we didn't. Deal with it.

Read the thread. They all know what we're going through and more than a few empathize with us. Some don't like us, who cares. We're just in a hypersensitive state right now because noone loves us.

Please don't speak of something you know nothing about. You're obviouly new around here so you wouldn't be familiar of the we took from SU fans the first few years how we would never be good and it would take 10 years just to be competitive. Ironic that we essentially owned their sorry asses during our time together.

It has nothing to do with them going to the ACC. But you wouldn't know that because you are new around here.

Someone with so few posts that has Ukon in their name has the smell of a troll all over it.

A TROLL of major league proportions.
HELLO? Thread unreadable / sorry you opened it? Why would anyone continue to read something unreadable and then go out of their suffering way to comment?
This gets a five emoticon rating, a leader for first team so early in the year.

She probably donated quite a bit to Newman's Hole in the Wall camp for sick kids.

Understatement.

Severe understatement.

I've been to enough Syracuse games to know that the fanbase there just did not know what hit them when football went into the tter. Then UCONN went racing past them and it was more more than any of them could take.

Now, with the current CR situation they can expect and hope that UCONN will fall back. Mind you, they know that doesn't happen on a level playing field. But, at least for right now, they are in a better position. The problem for them is, CR isn't over and if the playing field is ever leveled again they pretty much know what happens.

I don't even know what a troll is. I'm not down with all that geeky blog lingo.

I live in Stafford and have season tickets to UConn football. I just don't like cry babies. Let's make the most of what we've got. Fill our little 40000 seat stadium and maybe we'll get our invite.

Too bad she still feels the need to seek validation on fan message boards.

I you think she's ever self-publicized her charity on a message board, then you are sorely mistaken.

That's not what I mean. If I were donating 7 figures to anything, the last thing I would be doing is posting on Syracusefan.com

She is as much responsible for the actual existence of the SU board and the UConn board as anyone. She is a loyal SU grad, fan, and supporter, and as a resident of CT for years, also a fan and supporter of UConn. The only thing I'm positive of is that the people criticizing her do not know her.

She has been nothing but wonderful to UCONN fans.

Holy crap. I have avoided this thread because frankly I'm tired of the Cuse fans and their odd sense of false superiority especially as it relates to us. But the one person who as always been good to Uconn and to a lot of us Uconn fans is CTO. Her first loyalties are with the Ottos, as it should be. But she is extremely charitable and does not deserve the crap she's getting from some here. This is why the golf tournament was good. When you get to meet the people behind the avatars, you find out that a lot of your precoceptions are off base.
(Not all.... but a lot:))

Answer: They get leveled!!!!!

I'm sure she's great and donates millions of dollars to every charity you can think of. But if you're going to come to this board something like 3 years in a row and cry a river about Uconn fans heckling you at a game, then don't expect much sympathy. If you can afford to donate that much money to anything, why do you need to validate yourselves to Uconn fans on a mesage board? Especially after this this fanfase has taken over the last year (particularly from our Orange clad friends). We have lost more than any other program in this realignment mess. We're tired, cornered, and should just be left alone.
