Plus Dannykuconn got a shout out![]()
I had the same reaction. Not a good look at all.Probably the cheer during Wilson's injury. The injury was the reason the arena was dead silent. I cringed when I heard the UConn chant on TV at such a moment (which resulted in boos by the crowd). I think and hope that Danny would take that one back if he could.

Well your assumption apparently is not correct. See this threadI had the same reaction. Not a good look at all.
"That's Morgan Tuck," Auriemma said. "There was a point in the first quarter when I asked if she needed a breather and she said, 'No. I'm good. As a matter of fact I'm good for the whole game.'
Love that swwwaagggg!! Go Morgan!!!
I never called anyone out in particular. The fact of the matter is that a UConn chant took place while Wilson was down on the ground, and it came off poorly.Well your assumption apparently is not correct. See this thread
Glad to know that, then. My apologies for attributing it to a specific person.Well your assumption apparently is not correct. See this thread
I have to admit to playing my version of "Where's Waldo" when I watch a game on TV. I laugh a bit when I spot Danny. He reminds me of better (more) dressed version of Blue and White kid.Plus Dannykuconn got a shout out![]()
Just curious, who and when were the 3 losses? The Huskies are 19-3 now in games featuring the two top teams in The Associated Press poll.
It's stunning to see that on the page in black and white. Wow.
I got in through ctpost.com by using a cached version.Does anyone have a way to link the article that doesn't take you through the Courant's registration gatekeeper? Even though I registered, there system doesn't recognize my computer.

Probably ND in 2001 and Tennessee 2x.Just curious, who and when were the 3 losses?
That's Badass Award-worthy!!I liked this quote:
"I actually got asked today if this is a litmus test for us," Auriemma said, clearly revved by the road intensity of the night. "Whether we need this game to validate who we are this year because we play in a bad conference. It's remarkable the questions I have to answer. Some of these teams in these Power Five conferences should join our conference. They probably need to play us more often."
I can guarantee you that at least once (and maybe twice) it was Notre Dame and that was probably in that two and a half year Duggins era where we lost something like six of seven games. We were pretty damn good and obviously so was the Irish and they seemed to have some sort of Voodo spell on us to cause us to shoot ourselves in the foot in the last moments of game after game in that sequence. That or some really ludicrous refereeing or that ridiculous three point shot at the end of regulation that bounced ten feet into the air, off the rim and right back into the basket.Just curious, who and when were the 3 losses?
3 Posts above yours is Husky88's one-line simple explanation of how to easily view the article without subscribingI hate it when people post links from newspapers that require subscriptions. It is a tease...especially if you have no intention of paying the subscription price and the article has an enticing headline. I don't blame the person if they are themselves a subscriber just annoying that's all.
