Though he plays on the NBA Global Academy team normally, he's playing for Tasmania in this tournament.
That should be the full game. Not sure if anyone like @HooperScooper can do their magic and make the link free or not.
Have you tried that stuff? I made the mistake of smelling it first. Combination of feet and arse. The stuff is so salty. I guess they are used to it…but…I was not a fan.Can we pay him in vegemite?
I was told by Australian family that it’s not disgusting, I just needed to put it on buttered toast. Tried it…. Still disgusting.Have you tried that stuff? I made the mistake of smelling it first. Combination of feet and arse. The stuff is so salty. I guess they are used to it…but…I was not a fan.
I can see all the men are at work today ....You better run, you better take cover.
Any idea what the competition level he is playing in this U20 team? Does not sound like the U20 Australian national team or is it
It's an All State team. So like if U20 Connecticut were playing U20 New Hampshire and they also played Monteverde for some reason (global academy)Any idea what the competition level he is playing in this U20 team? Does not sound like the U20 Australian national team or is it
Thanks...It's an All State team. So like if U20 Indiana were playing U20 Kentucky.
But with Australia caliber players, not USA. There's only a handful of high major D1 guys in the tournament.

His state is smaller and he's the whole team.

Yeah. Can't really run our offense with small guards/wings. It just doesn't work as it should. Too easy to impede smaller guys and deny the ball.when they all signed their letters of intent DH referenced Newton/Spencer/Castle's size at 6'5"/6'4"/6'6" and getting back to that formula, so I'd imagine the backcourt and wing spots will all be in play for them
NoAny relation to Johnny Furphy the spurs player?
What gossip?Still wondering what the Nate Ament gossip is
Yeah, dove in after I made that post. I just remembered watching some video back in the fall and thinking he'd be a great pickup. Didn't realize he's been gone from our radar until now.
Is he a PG? Not really. He's a shooter first and foremost. On this Tasmania team he plays kind of a Doncic role, and he says he models his game after Giddey and Doncic. But that's more because they have no other options. He's a bit like a combo guard in a wing body. It's going to take him time to be an impact player, because his defense is going to have to be a work in progress guarding D1 athletes. He's Cam Spencer, but age 19 instead of 24.Can Furphy play the point? We have several weaknesses for next year and point guard is one of them
Well now I can tell how old you guys are. Lol
I see some Cam fire in him that we’re missing this year. Imagine how much worse it’s going to feel when he talks trash after dunking on someone with an Australian accent.
Can’t you hear, can’t you hear, can’t you hear the thunderWhere women glow and men plunder?
