Jackson Jr commits to dunk contest

Is there any video of AJ competing in dunk contests? Super athletic and bouncy but I need to see what the creativity is like

I love SAS. I know as a member of the BY I'm supposed to hate everything, but I like to be happy. SAS is entertaining and he makes me laugh :)
Entertaining but full of awful takes and reports things that aren’t true and acts as if he’s god.

I remember there was one of him from High School I believe, I can’t find it though :/

Yeah like Steph I only have seen power dunks from Andre. Anyone have links to that creativity?

Sure - but that is his charm. He is not a reporter - he is an entertainer. I take him for what he is and enjoy it.

He's more of a one foot leaper so I think he's going to have to pull off some stuff from out near the ft line. His game dunks are a little unique because he takes off on one foot and dunks really hard but all I've ever seen is one handed and two handed tomahawks. In high school he would do one handed windmills in games but I don't remember seeing that at UConn and in the pros.

McClung is back.

Lol @ that list of participants, brutal. did Shaedon Sharpe decline again?

.-.
I always thought they should have an NBA vs Professional Dunkers contest on All-Star weekend. The pro dunkers probably can’t shoot a free throw or dribble 10 feet but they do some pretty incredible dunks from what I’ve seen online.

The professional dunkers would crush the NBA guys.

I know AJ tested 39” at the combine but I’d be shocked if he can’t get up higher than that
That is a standing vertical. Not too often that guys just jump straight up with little to no movement. Jackson is a flier. Even at UConn when he would get some momentum there were few who could ever get up that high.

His standing vert was 30.5 inches, his max vert was 39.5

Right with ya. We did have a front row seat for 3 years though. His thunder dunks will remain legend in my brain.

I stand corrected. He must have increased his vertical then because I've seen him fly recently in highlights.
Agreed, the numbers seem low and I wouldn't put much stock in them.

There's probably only a handful of guys in the NBA who can jump like him on the run.

Guess I’ll be watching the dunk contest AND McDonald’s game this year. What a pleasant turn of events.

I feel like Jackson's odds are pretty off and based on the eyeball test, should be 2nd only to McClung.
