Jackie Gemelos signs Training Camp Contract

with the Atlanta Dream. She's worked extremely hard coming back form her multiple injuries. Hope she succeeds with the dream.


Jackie's a recruit that I wish had come to UConn as she originally gave a verbal to. However, it was her father's dream that she play at UConn more then Jackies.

Just noticed this thread or I wouldn't have mentioned it in a different one. She should have a really good shot since Cooper was her college coach and he really seemed to care about her as both a player and person. He wasn't suited to and totally sucked as a coach in WCBB, but he did everything possible to get Jackie ready for a career in professional basketball. I think she will have every opportunity to make this team. More so than she had last year on a loaded Links roster.
