Good for him... Brown QB coach to UM Offensive Grad Asst to B1G TE coach w/ Kirk. Sure he will be recruiting NE.

He can bring his brother for show and tell. ;)

It's funny; every time I think of him now, the first thing I think of is him throwing the ball out of the endzone after scoring the winning touchdown against sPitt. I'm happy for the man...

Damn, that guy has trouble holding a steady job.;)
Actually, he's on an amazing ride in 5 years. Player-coach in Germany, assistant to Bill Mella & then elevated to head coach at Southington High, then on to the college ranks. He's building an impressive resume. Congrats!

He's a more recent UCONN alumn.. wonder why we didn't offer him a gig

Great news, he's really working his way up at a decent clip. Maybe his next step will be UConn OC.

I see a future HC in DJ. Congrats for him.

I had a lot of ill will towards his brother when he decommitted from UCONN and chose FLA. However, b/c I am a fickle fan and a big Pats man, I now root for Aaron. What can I say, I'm a fan.

UCONN just seems to have its head up its a_s, they should have found a spot for DJ on the staff. I casn see him being an excellent recruiter. I think he would connect really well with young players. However, rest assured, because HCPP and Warde are both monitoring the situation.

I don't know that I'd want to see him on our staff this year. I'd rather he go out, continue to spread his wings and learn under different coaches, and then come here a more finished product. I was surprised to see him land a BCS position coach already. It's hard to believe DJ has a better job than Mike Foley right now. It speaks well of DJ's accomplishments as well as demonstrating how badly P and GDL are wasting Foley's ability.

We could put him in charge of Lost Wristbands and play stealing

I'll take that. Both have ties to us and are not dinosaurs

Funny how the great CT HS coaches ran him out of town. Screw 'em all.

Not looking to argue but the CT HS coaches had nothing to do with the decision he made in a very prestigious position at an early age. He was one of them. He made a mistake and had to pay for it.
Looks like he has found a good spot to continue a career in football. I wish him nothing but good luck going forward.
