They say most of cases are basic flu-like and the concern comes when it develops into pneumonia in those with respiratory and heart related pre existing conditions. The same is true with all strains of virus. If people want to postpone events due to it, fine, keeping folks from congregating may be a quick fix and place those who are nervous at ease to that extent.
