They(USF) should be higher. Stanford and Texas should not be ranked. Outside of UConn, Stanford has not beaten anyone of value and Texas has lost 7 of their last 9 games.South Carolina stays at #2.
Baylor, ND, and Maryland follow. Baylor presumably gets the #3 because they have only one loss.
Undefeated Princeton is #16 in one poll; #18 in the other.
Interestingly for AAC followers, South Florida at 19-4 is #25 in both polls.
Not sure about the logic on that but... Tenn. was so unimpressive in beating a pretty bad Florida team...Baylor and ND drop down a little bit in points at same positions while MD and UTenn go up.
When was the last time Tenn. was impressive? Sorry, couldn't resist!!!Not sure about the logic on that but... Tenn. was so unimpressive in beating a pretty bad Florida team...
Yeah, not really sure where it comes from. Maybe because one SEC team lost 37 points, some of it needs to go to another SEC team? Not sure about the logic on that but... Tenn. was so unimpressive in beating a pretty bad Florida team...
LOL well said!Yeah, not really sure where it comes from. Maybe because one SEC team lost 37 points, some of it needs to go to another SEC team?
Two thousand and something lol. When was the last time Tenn. was impressive? Sorry, couldn't resist!!!
Agreed. I miss any conference at this point LOL. BUT... If we end up staying in the AAC, it's bound to improve. And if we are fortunate enough to get into the AAC or B1G, we will all be thrilled.7 of the 25 in the coach's poll are from the old Big East, and two more,
DePaul and St. John's got votes.
Like everyone else, I really miss that old conference.
