My best guess:
The Big (9) 12 will stabilize and they will go back 12. Included in the 3 will be the Ville and possible WV. If the Big (9) 12 takes only one school, it will start a freefall.
Since Big (9) 12 will stabilize, Mizzou will stay. The SEC has three options for number 14: The Ville, WV, or ACC team. WV whom was rejected, maybe looking pretty again.
Currently, TCU is talking to the MWC because 1) its stable 2) with TCU it can probably qualify for BCS status in 2012
Where does this leave ND as the conference falls again. No other conference will take them with no football. They will be forced to move to a conference, Big (12) Ten or ACC. What ever conference they choose, that conference needs to take one more. At that point, who do the two conferences favor: UConn or Rutgers?
-Rutgers whom has not had any sports success except one top 25 finish in football; Academics high; okay name brand, great location
-UConn constant 25 top finishes for multiple sports teams and many conference and national championships; Academics high; great name brand; very good-great location
My bet is UConn.
