56K behind Ken in something like 40 less games? Beyond impressive I watched basically all but a couple once he got going. The librarian that beat him had a nice win again tonight good for her.

The third person also had a good day. I know have big winners helps the show, but I can see a rule change to better focus on knowledge, rather than buzzer speed.

That rule change would simply be to ask harder questions. They have gone the other way over the years. The clues are so much easier these days. They can't make too many questions too hard or they lose the nitwit audience.

Alex has got to stop all the James references not that he is no longer on the show. He made a few comments to Emma yesterday that totally fell flat, and she seemed increasingly set on letting him know that she found them somewhat demeaning.

Have given up watching anything except games on ESPN. Spelling bee news, Jeopardy news, poker, hot dogs. Too much hype, too many personalities who sports is about them.
The irony is strong here

That's why he said he boned up on subjects he didn't know well by reading children's books or books written at early grade school level. There is only so much in depth knowledge a person can know.

When the "E" stood for entertainment the entertainment programming was still sports related (30 for 30, etc). They changed their name in 1985 to ESPN, Inc, and did away with the initialism.
We used to call it the eastern soccer programming network.
