Its official! This team is my favorite UConn team ever.

Don't need a title, championship, McDs, or All Americans. This team has bumped the Chris Smith team, the Rip team, the Ray Allen team, Kemba's and all the others.

This team is exciting, tenacious, persistent and imperfect. But they win and are hard to beat. There has never been a team with so little doing so much. So proud they wear the UConn jersey. If better UConn teams had this team's heart. we would have won more championships.

So yeah they are now my favorite UConn team of all time. I posted this right after a loss by the way, so I mean what I say.

I agree with all of that. To be playing as hard as they are (and to get us cheering as hard as we are), knowing there's no postseason waiting, this team has reminded us what the game is about, honestly. I know that sounds cheesy as hell, but it really is true.

Could not agree more. The effort and character make the flaws endearing. If a starter for the 2006 team did an ole on the other team's winning basket like Daniels did on Porter, I would be spewing venom right now. But no one questions Daniels heart or desire. He just blew it, and the margin of error is so slim for this team that they couldn't overcome it. The fact that they were even in double OT against the #7 team in the country is a credit to every single person on that sideline.
