It's not fair

Eh. The only thing really unfair is where Illinois has played the last two “neutral’ games against us. We used to mock Duke and UNC for getting those type of “neutral” games.
We're playing them in Chicago next season. It's similar to our arrangement with Gonzaga a couple years back.

I remember a second round tournament game against Ohio St (and Jim Jackson) in Cincinnati, a sweet 16 game against Florida in Miami, a regional final against UNC in Greensboro ans a national semifinal against Michigan St in Detroit.

I'll leave out the regional final against UCLA in Oakland as that may be stretching things a bit and I'll readily admit that the scales balanced with Michigan St when we played the regional final at the Garden, but all in all I believe we are still owed a little when it comes to neutral sites.

I remember an Alabama fan commenting after our final 4 win that “this is what teams must feel like when they’ve played us in football over the last 15 years”. Play an A+ game and still are only barely competitive.
Now THIS is a fair and accurate post.

Not so much, if at all!
Exactly. This thread is a load of horse manure. It's like Geno said during the 100 game win streak when the naysayers were trying to say it was "bad for the game". Auriemma said, "There's going to come a day when we lose. I'm not taking my foot off of the gas." And he was damn right - the couldn't beat the "big girls" when it counted for 8 years. Success sans cheating is NEVER something you apologize for - THEY sure won't when it's their turn!

I am ashamed to admit my gratitude during this Thanksgiving season.

It's not good health, great family or a close family.

It's being a UConn fan!!!

Sweet 16 vs Texas in Texas

They didn’t need to take the game if they didn’t want to play us in NYC. We always had to play actual NCAA tourney games in North Carolina.
Right. And Texas in Texas, and Florida in Florida, and UCLA in California and Sparty in Michigan. But us playing in MSG is unfair? Get outta here with the nonsense.

Mojo terminator. Nothing good will ever come from posts like this.
Tom, do your magic. I can’t unread what I’ve already read but I hope I never run across that post again please.

I've talked like this for decades, especially 23/24

We're too good, it is what it is

Nothing bad as ever come from anything I've said (I'm not superstitious, and I play craps)
