It's never a bad time for a Ray Allen clip

Especially when he's yamming on Syracuse's head:

Yam and every iteration of it is my chosen word for dunking as well, and i thought I was fairly unique in that regard, so well done Matrim. I like the word choice.

Oh yeah, and a yam from my favorite player ever on one of 3 least favorite teams...that's cool too.

Ray never went and dunked on people. I remember that exact play because it was just so rare. Nice to see.

I had written the word collegiately when referring to his rareness of dunking but removed it. I was only referring to his Uconn days and I don't think there are too many other Uconn dunks. I really do not watch much NBA. Thank you for the clip.

I figured you meant college - I seem to remember a few other dunks from his UConn tenure - but much of the world outside of Connecticut think of Ray as a 3-pt specialist. He was so so much more during his prime.

^This. I also think he was one of the best dunkers in UConn history.

That number one against the Pistons was nasty. That was from his rookie year.

Two things about Ray: 1. He had hops.
2. He had hangtime.

Loved some of those dunks where he would rise with the ball in the right hand, cup it with both, and then finish with the right hand. I remember him having many acrobatic layups and shots in his Husky career (game winner in BET Final against G-Town comes to mind:D).

Some more Ray Allen dunks:

Doron always had his head up - quickest guy I can remember from rebound/pass to finding a guy 3/4 down the floor.
Doron was the best 3/4 court passer. He was amazing. The fast break back then with Ollie and Sheffer was something else. Marcus Williams was also an excellent fast break passer.
Thanks for the additional footage guys.
I've been watching religiously since 1989. I knew he had some fast break dunks but I did not remember those impressive dunks in traffic. Getting old and too much of this and that when I was younger.
I had recorded that game on VHS. You could never imagine how many times I watched the two dunks. I vividly remember them to this day.;)
