Jai'Quan McKnight (QB/DB, Ansonia) had an impressive first season under center, leading Ansonia to it's second consecutive 14-0 season. He completed 60 of 113 passes for 1,481 yards and 25 touchdowns (6 INTs) and rushed for 505 yards and 8 TDs. However, I think he will be recruited as a DB. He made 39 tackles and lead Ansonia with 7 INTs, 2 returned for TDs. Ansonia played a lot of Cover 0. With Newsome on the other side, he saw a lot of balls thrown his way and was lockdown.

keith, honest question-do u see him being a college rb by chance? i can easily see db for him and i think he will get offers for that spot. harris will be the #1 qb in state for 2015 but hes going to get crazy attention from dual offenses. when newsome goes next year, who is in line after? any chance they let him run the ball? i think he could be a beast at rb...i have to say i already see 4 ct players bcs talent wise for 2015 which is just crazy. this state is exploding right now and its fun to be talking kids!

He's not a burner. He runs in the 4.6 range.

He was suppose to be Newsome's back up last season. But, I don't see him moving back to RB. Ansonia has a soph RB, Tyler Bailey, who saw varsity time. They also are said to have a kid coming up from AYF who looks promising, from what I've been told.
