we just finished one of our more disappointing seasons, one of a very few that is. We were something like
1-9 in one possession games.

many weren't happy with our recruiting class, JC was getting old, the wheels were coming of the program. That class included Bazz, Neils, Tyler, Lamb and Scoe. Remember how we "landed the wrong Lamb"?

Jimmy said he liked his class, but I doubt even he saw this coming

Bookend National Championships, the best class ever!!!!!!!

we're still dooooomed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You left out Ater Majok entering the draft and half of our fan base losing their minds as we wouldn't have enough height to do anything the upcoming season.

I forgot all about him

will best be remembered as a great example of NCAA bureaucratic incompetence, didn't it take them over 1 year to clear him?

Ha, remember when the NCAA being out to get us only went as far as taking forever to deem our players eligible? That was quaint.

To answer your question specifically about Majok: I'm pretty sure he was there for the entire 2008-09 season and was hoping to be cleared for the spring '09 semester. Not only did that not happen, but he was forced to sit out the entire fall 0'9 semester as well, and by the time he was finally able to get into game action in spring '10, it was too late for him to get into the rhythm of the games (plus he was another classic Calhoun case of vastly overrating the exotic prospect who hadn't played yet).
