You actually posted we don't have anywhere near the talent as LSU? Gee, thanks.
what a great strategy for going forward. Let's just recruit as much talent as LSU.
You're welcome. Hope you aren't suggesting that should not attempt to recruit as much talent as LSU. Isn't that the name of the game? Think Jim and Geno have 10 national championships 'cause they just coach em up better than everyone else? How did the squid get Memphis up there in basketball, "ohhh, how do I recruit with Kentucky, Ucla, Texas, Dook, woooow is me?" Not hardly, he got it done.
In case you got bored and didn't read the complete sentence, or as a business lawyer you are so practiced at being disingenous, that statement was part of a continuum, here is the whole paragraph: "Need better players. Who on Uconn's 22 one deep would start for #1 LSU (or for them make their scholarship team), start for #10 Arkansas or #20 Nebraska."
In order to make an understandable response you need to address the whole thought, but then you are a lawyer so maybe being understandable is not the aim. LSU was listed as #1, what about as it relates to the talent level of #10 Ark. or #20 Nebraska? In case you missed the rationale for the listing of schools, started with #1 and showed 10 and 20 also just to show not only a bit to go to get to #1 but also to #20. If talent level is not near #20 (never mind #1), tough (even in a very, very weak BE where 37.5% of the conference wins the title and with a fairly winnable OOC schedule) to have a good record and even harder to be a top 25 team.
I know, I know, if only we still had the YOUNG fhcRE instead of the age challenged coach P (and all the concerns you have about having a coach his age) Uconn could play with the big boys and get to a BCS bowl. Yeah, maybe it isn't talent, wonder if the Terps would give fhcRE back.
