To all those saying progress. Tulsa won’t make the tourney and hit 16 threes against us. Tulsa from the eye test is not good. Uconn made them look good.

Can I point out that Ollie switch things up in 2nd half and was running baseline screens for Adams and Larrier like Calhoun and used two bigs to set screens. I was shocked he changed his style. We went on a run to tie game and then he went back to 3 guard with Larrier and we sucked on O rest of the way.

Most D1 teams when wide open the whole game tend to make a lot of threes.

Kind of like a 5th place consolation game in front of a small crowd, with some talent on display and flaws galore, between two roughly equal teams. A tighter lineup, fewer turnovers, some assists, even an odd sense that they might care, and somehow I go off to bed less bothered than curious about what's next.
Feeling OK about my first tanka as well.

Young team that is learning how to play defense......can't just make them Seniors. When you have a team with not much upper class leadership given our talent profile it's going to be more frustrating than it should be. The seniors we have are transfers and frankly not effective.

That isn't the new KO. He is a sullen coach who resides back in his seat most of the game. I saw this first hand in the Auburn game. The one with the passion is gone after the divorce.

Interesting.....divorce can take something from you.

His only two Techs I can remember were embarrassingly awful. The ejection vs Louisville and the crucial paper tossing tantrum with a chance to beat Maryland in the BigErn game. Part of Calhoun’s magic was working the refs. How many times did we say “man we got hosed by the refs” in JC’s days?

Very rarely under JC. Working refs is a huge part of the job and KO is just so poor at it. We’re constantly at a major disadvantage from free throws attempted.

I don't get the excuses. It's mind boggling. We have plenty of talent if we had someone to run a competent offense and actually develop players

Y’all really think this program is sinking smh wow .... this program is where it should be with how the roster is made up.. we had an NCAA tournament team a season ago easy 23-24 wins but two devastating injuries and a Mamadou .. then we had departures guys left 2 bigs and a 6-8 stand still shooter with no defensive skills trust me Ollie tried to get them to stay it happens, and guys leaving Connecticut because their tired of being there to play elsewhere, it says a lot about the state of Connecticut another guy decommits , but we blame Ollie for a kid leaving , I can’t wait to see what Durham Enoch and Vance does with their respective teams

We have private garbage - it's a race between garbage truck vs. snow.
