You would think our 3 guard team's strength would be defending the perimeter...but somehow we got worse than when we had the bigger lineup in. Just so crazy.
We trap the baseline but then there's no rotation behind that to close out shooters. After the first time it looked like Haith realized as much and had his team purposefully dribble into the trap, then swing two passes around the perimeter for open looks.

This stuff isn't hard to identify. Just gotta coach a little bit. A tiny little bit.

We do nothing great. Defensively we do nothing well, yet we run tons of junk. You can tell guys are confused and do not know rotations. Wish we would just work on our man to man.

Giving up 42 to Tulsa in one half is a JOKE.

And Etou wasn’t on the floor for the last 4 3’s, we do NOT need to trap or help then. Just freakin’ stay with your man.

We can’t seem to put together a game with half way decent offense and defense. When our offense looks ok our defense is terrible. Our defense has been bad, but Tulsa has hit 3 or 4 of those from about 25 feet out. What are the chances they hit 10 more in the 2nd half?

Only down by 6 points. We can get back in this game. Just gotta make those bunnies.

Very good

How bad are things at Treasure Island? Yikes.

It may have already been said earlier but my god the play by play is horrible. What an emotionless sad-sack. Bill Walton is better than this afterthought broadcast....

Game was tied at 16 and then Tulsa made at least 7 3's the remainder of the half.

Maybe closing out on these shooters would he a good adjustment.

Adams has calves that are bigger than most PF's and C's. Not sure if there is any advantage, but he has really big calves.

Team looked to have most energy when Whaley was playing Midway through first half.

It's painful, Ollie continues to make Haith look like Popovich.

The three seniors are missed. They were our best, smartest defensive players and their absence is evident in a game like this where a young team is getting diced up from three.

Players need to just stick with their man , don’t help at all cuz they made 10 3’s in a half it’s absurd how stupid we are at playing defense

Against this Tulsa lineup, and based on 1st half play, think we need to split rest of big man minutes in 2nd half between Diarra, Whalley, & Williams. Sounds crazy but it seemed to work the best for offensive flow and rebounding.
