Is UConn the best Northeastern athletic program?

Without question (and it's not really debatable) UConn and it's 21 national championships is the best athletic program in the northeast. There is not really a school that has done remotely close to what UConn has done.

Depends on your definition of "northeastern," but I'd think Maryland would have us beat.

Maryland is "mid-atlantic" - not NE...
