in the country as recently as November? What makes it even more baffling, is usually in November the defense is ahead of the offense. My question is, what the hell happened? This is one of those UConn seasons I just have a hard time explaining. There is just no way you could have expected this type of regression.

I agree, but really 71 in regulation. If there isn't an injury, there is really no way to explain it. It's like everyone hit the wall collectively on offense.

We should point out, that UConn followed a similar pattern last year, executing well early on, hitting a wall in the middle of the Big East season (not to this extent) before picking it up around BET time. Even if these sad sacks can put up 40% from the field our defense can win a lot of games.

It was November. teams don't come into their own sometimes until a bit later. For better or worse.

This team lacks chemistry, personality, and leadership. Look at their faces and body language. Even JC looks perplexed. They may come out of it , but someone will have to lead the charge. I think it will be boat, if JC let's him.
