Is this Hurley after this game?

I HATE that this is how the postgame Hurley is being portrayed. Its confirmation bias for the haters and virtue signalers. The story shouldve been he showed real love for his team and seniors, was classy in the cbs interview, still in tears.

If non participants were in a locker room you would be shocked at what is said in the middle of battle at times. To have a hot mic catching a coach in the concourse leaving the court is a non-starter. He wasnt berating an official or doing an interview. If you say it in a press conference its very different to what is a nothingburger comment and once again is clickbait. (and I started the thread criticizing Dan Hurley after the "players cant take hard coaching", so I'm not a Dan sycophant).

The Nancy moralists should read Roosevelt's "the man in the arena"

Of all people, you should know that "Gino" has never come close to having a temper tantrum and never will.
;)
Maybe he's talking about this guy (Celtics fans will recognize him)?

Would sure love this to be the end of it. Even us losing hasn't stopped our coach from being the main story.

"Hyper competitive coach is unhappy about losing" is a non-story anyway.

Vince Lombardi was credited with saying: "You show me a good loser, I'll show you a loser".

In polite society a lot of what we've witnessed doesn't seem acceptable. This is competitive sports at an exceptionally high level. Yes, I would have preferred if he hadn't said that when he did, in the manner he did but, if this is him at his worst I can easily live with it.
