Another in a very long line of wonderful Phoenix coaches in numerous sports. If she turns out to be an idiot, no one here will be surprised. Not even a little bit.

She's not an idiot; a very long term player AND coach; I knew when she was with San Antonio as an assistant and had forgotten she was with LA. Her husband, whose assistant she is overseas, may turn up as her assistant here.

You don't have to be an idiot to be a failure and being an idiot doesn't prevent success.

Was not suggesting she was, which is why the sentence started with the word, "If." We just seem to have a history here of hiring people as coaches that don't really work out that well. Maybe she'll break the mold, which would be a good thing.
