If so, he has not yet come forward. These kids look like 5 lost boys out there. There guys up front are trying to set screens for Lamb who keeps trying to find a wide open shot while Shabazz just dribbles time of the shot clock. There is just so little ball movement and player movement. We do see some finger pointing by the ball handler but this is NOT leadership.

I really think these kids are afraid. They're afraid they will not achieve the success of last years team and it effects their play. It's in their minds and coach is having a tough time getting in their heads.

Unfortunately, you cannot just appoint a leader. He has to step up and assume the role. We just do not have that person(ality) on this team. Let's hope the rest of the season gets better or it will be a long summer.

I think the question is 'is their a player on this team that the other players will accept as their leader?" They seem to reject Bazz and Alex has too many things to address for himself before he can help others. Who's left?

Purely guessing, but I think the team came into the year thinking it was going to be a cakewalk into the postseason. Heck, they were cruising in the Central Florida game and then they collapsed and I don't think they've had the time to figure things out.
