You need to reach a certain level of "good" before the defense can cause turnovers. We are not at that level.

We have 2. Forced a fumble against Holy Cross in the 4th Q. But without turnovers, this D doesn't stand much chance.

Still, sometimes the opposing QB throws one right to a DB. SMU did that today but our DB didn't see the ball until it hit him. If you're not getting TOs, you tend also miss opportunities. If you get a couple in a game, it makes teams more alert. We really need some.
