Is Ivey NDs Holly?

Extremely poor performance at home on national TV.

Why don't 'some' coaches use their time outs! ?

Yes. If you are talking about Unrealistic Expectations by fans, casual fans, and media. No. If you are talking about random comparison. Both were/are solid coaches. Today, Notre Dame started off slow, real slow, and just could not recover. I mean, when you are behind 54-15 at the half, you really are done. Shots just weren't falling for Notre Dame.

Definitely not a great showing on national TV. It happens sometimes. As for why some coaches don't use their time. It could be a host of reasons.

I wouldn't go that far, yet! ND is much improved from last season, today was just a horrible performance.

I think Ivey is a good coach, although i'm not a fan of this NBA style offense. She needs to implement Muffet's Princeton style motion offense.

What say you?
Nah, not at all. Today was bad but Ivey looks far more competent than Holly ever did. I dont expect ND to return to its status as a perennial title contender under Ivey but I think they'll be a steady top 10-15 team going forward.

Not by a long shot. i will never be a fan of ND, but Ivey is recruiting well. With a low post threat, they will be formidable. But, I don’t think they will sink as low Tennessee did under Holly.

She's good. Young core pieces, mediocre bench and one of those days where anything that could go wrong...went wrong.

I think it's too early to say that. In terms of Kelly vs Holly, I don't really think they're much better.

Why in the world is anybody making this comparison. It’s her second season at the helm. Let her have time! Yes, the Louisville loss at home wasn’t good, but they’ve been TREMENDOUSLY better than the last 2 seasons, and nobody can deny that.

There’s players that Ivey is recruiting that COULD put them back to 2010-2019 level. It’s just using her recruiting magic from 2008-2015 level to get them to commit to ND. Bransford is in the right direction.

What say you?
Not even close. Holly Warlick appears to be a good human being, but as a coach she was abysmal. Notre Dame is trending upwards this year. This would be an unfair question even if they were .500 this year. I think you vastly underestimate how bad Holly was if you are asking such a question.

She did - at least two in the first quarter, maybe three. But the time outs didn't have the desired effect.
