Just bored and having UConn basketball withdrawal on this hot summer day. Can’t wait to start looking forward to the season.

Thanks…Im just really looking forward to the season. I love when the schedule comes out and I can figure out which games I will be attending. Ive never been to a game at Providence, so that is a game Im looking forward too and maybe plan a trip. We still owe them from last year.

Queue the usual "illuminati" to complain about how late our scheduling comes every year, ignoring all history and logistics.

To put it in perspective, only 19 out of the 363 D1 teams released their full non-conference schedule, per:

Don't they usually wait until they have the conference schedule is released so they can put all of the games out there?

Nope, and hopefully they don't wait until September 1 like last year since that is later than most programs

The schedule stuff is getting more and more annoying as the years go on. It’s ridiculous we don’t get a schedule until 2 months before the season. Theres no reason they can’t announce the full schedule earlier than they do. I blame UConn, Big East and TV networks equally on this.

I mean, you are not wrong that it’s annoying when it comes to the non-conference.

But I don’t blame UConn, Big East or TV for that.

There are tons of moving pieces, especially when it comes to the buy games. I’m sure the entire program wishes this was settled way in advanced.

Even with the conference schedule where the match-ups are known, a lot of things, like arena availability, need to be worked out to put it together.

Depends on TV setting a schedule. Which is a good thing for us. Means exposure.
