Winning the AAC tourney and making a run in the NC2A would hace a larger recruiting benefit than losing fast.

DUH.
Saying "DUH" (especially in caps) is part of your special contribution, but not in a good way.

"Hace you no shame, sir?"

I don't know how recruiting works but based on our inability to land a prominent 5, I'm ready to turn to a witch to try magic spells. Since it's the top teams vying for the same talent, being done early is going to help us? I think not.

You always play as much as you can unless there is eminent danger in doing so - and I don't mean losing as a danger (lightning, fire, earthquake.....)

Well I dunno. Yes, I'd love to see them play hard.

I'd also like to see them get a jump on more recruiting.

So - both.

Need a win against USF. Then a miracle upset of Houston. Even if it ends there, we'd be .500 and have a shot at the NIT. It would be so fitting to get Al back, with Jalen and win the damned NIT. It's how the Calhoun run began, and it would be amazing to replicate that. And yes, with Jalen and Alterique, this team could win the NIT.
