Probably off topic but not sure where else to put it but the Syr board is saying that Bernie Fine's wife is having a news conference tomorrow with a high powered lawyer who sounds like he is going to sue someone for false statements and that. The guys who accused Fine of molesting them have no $$ and the University never said anything so looks like ESPN may be the target along with maybe the local Syr paper.

Probably off topic?

No one in that cluster duck* is going to get anywhere suing anyone else in that cluster duck*. The whole lot of them should be buried in a very deep hole.

There is a board for this sort of thing - it is called "the Syracuse board".

Sorry, pls delete thread if it is an issue. thought it would be of interest bec many here have said ESPN should be sued for allegedly destroying the BE.

I'm reading your words but am failing to understand the connection. Are you saying that because some here wonder if ESPN has liability for conference realignment that any story not relating to conference realignment that you are speculating may have an ESPN tie is related?

This is quickly becoming my favorite thread on this board.

I hadn't thought of that angle. I was thinking, "why would Laurie Fine want to go thru all those Bobby Davis allegations again? She must have screwed some of the players in the past. She's going to look terrible." I hadn't thought about her suing ESPN for its irresponsible reporting. They have ruined hers and Bernie's lives, certainly in a reckless way. Tomaselli going back on his story; the ESPN writer putting Davis in touch w/ Tomaselli, ESPN sitting on the tape for so many years and then running it in the obvious aftermath of Penn State and now the Boeheim dismissal - I think she's actually got a pretty good case, or at least should be able to shake them down for some serious money. They wouldn't dare bring up all that tawdry crap in their defense.

Did Laurie and Bernie do 3-somes with Bobby Davis, or did they bang him separately?
