Need to know - my 93 year old dad doesn't walk well. Last year the bus from Hartford to the stadium for the Army game was a dream, special lanes and drop off service right at the gate.

If it is not running don't know if he can make it unless there is some VIP car service.

I only have the chance, coming from NC to see one or two home games, and he wants to finally see my Huskies play. tia

They were handing out fliers on the way into the game about the bus service, so I think you should be good. Maybe call too? Good luck to you and your dad

and i am coming from old wethersfield, if that imbedded in your handkle. But Dad can't take a long tailgate or a long walk to the stadium. He's 93.

Great side is he's a lifelong vocal ND fan who refused to go to any
UConn games, but this year he is primed. Lets just hope its not the list entry on his bucket list. But if it is then it will be a very very special moment and outing.

They did every Saturday last year so you should be good.

Seem to remember you can park at Travelers for free downtown

Yeah, Wethersfield guy here. Like I said, Fasttrack was handing out fliers last night. Wish I had saved it to give you more relevant info. Just glad to hear your dad is 93 and willing to entertain a Uconn game

Sounds ludicrous, this whole thread. Pick the man up for and bring him in to tailgate.

I would invite to a tailgate, but sounds like his dad just wants to go right to the game. Cheers

i will check CT transit sites, last year i took it for the Army game and it was awesome. Thanks.

Now if it works out and I could get him to Old Town for a beer after a win that would be special. He coached Billy for a few years in bb.

If you go to the OT, then I will gladly buy you both a few rounds.

Dude - He's 93 and has trouble walking (diabeties). He might be able to think he can tailgate, but the purpose is to get a lifelong ND fan into the Rent to see where UConn FB really is. The Courant has done a good job stressing UConn football. If they can get an old Mick like him (93 years in Hartford) to consider UConn FB then they have done their job.

Someone should pick him up and drive him. What am I missing? Dude.

Send him the UConn-ND game tape.

I'll spring for a vip limo to avoid the traffic and have the fastlane right up to the gate, but not sure if that's possible. When I took the CTFasttrack, last year, it really was easy.....thats all i'm saying. Just don't want to drive with bad traffic, bad parking spot, and a long walk. I am coming up from NC and not that familiar with the situation.. Thanks though
