Both teams will pose challenges because we don't always thrive vs. zone but I am not particularly impressed with either. Cuse deserves to #1 but they certainly aren't the most talented team. What have they made, 3 Elite 8's with Boeheim? Expect another flameout.

Uconn's ceiling is much higher even though they may win if the game was today.

I think UConn has an answer for every team in the country; with that being said other elite teams should feel the same way about us. Of course we're as good as anyone with our A game, that's obvious. But I'm more interested to see how our B game stacks up against others' B game, since the laws of averages dictate that is the level of play most games will have.

Cuse and Louisville are good teams. They might be better than us. But does it really matter? Last year those teams went 3-0 against us in the regular season and it didn't hurt us in the long run. I'm much more concerned with UConn's ability to take care of business against our schedule as a whole to thus pave a safer road through the Big Dance, than how we stack up head-to-head with a select few teams that we won't face until the later stage of tournaments--if at all.
Agreed. Were much faster and just as big as UNC. We have more experience and coaching than KY (and everyone else for that matter). Ohio St looks good but I dont see Sullinger killing us and I dont think Craft is as great as everyone says he is. Dont see him staying in front of Bazz and Boat. Cuse will choke as usual. L'ville doesnt have a guy to worry about. So that leaves...us. We are the best team. We can play any style and we have all the ingredients: great fast backcourt, big athletic frontcourt, depth, role players, shooters, high flyers, multiple guys that can break you down one on one... and of course the best coach in the country calling the shots.

Any level-headed basketball fan would be "worried" (i.e. no guarantee of us winning) against any of the top 5 teams.

Ohio State is very dangerous. Craft is good. Buford's good. And Thomas is really good. And Sullinger is fantastic.

When UK and UNC are clicking they are also very dangerous.

SU is about on our level. I think we're better, particularly with Drummond's continued improvement, but I'm a UConn fan. We should handle Louisville. They're playing very well. But I think we played Siva terribly last year (Shabazz kept gambling) and if we can contain him, we should win. That's a superficial analysis, of course, but this is the internet.

I think Baylor, Missouri, and a couple of others will get better over time. All it takes is a for a 'good' team to get hot in March (e.g. UConn last year) and its off to New Orleans, irrespective of roster makeup or the opponent. I think March will be absolute madness this year!
